Integrated Math 3
You may have enrolled in this course because you need to meet CSU entrance requirements only, or you may be a serious student of math who is determined to learn all that you can and progress next year to Precalculus and the following year to AP Calculus. Regardless, Algebra 2 will be a challenging course. This is not something that should cause you alarm; rather, it should spur you, even through times of frustration, to do your best.
Unless you are an extremely high achieving student who prefers to work on your own, studying with a partner, friend, pet goldfish, or whoever can help and encourage you is almost mandatory for you to be successful.
I allow students to retake the weekly quizzes. Should you not do well on a quiz, you would be foolish not to take advantage of the opportunity to do so.
There is no extra credit in any of my classes; however, you will have opportunities to gain "quiz points" and "bonus points" that will help boost your grade percent.
...and one last point: If you're not in class learning and completing your assignments, you might as well resign yourself to the failing grade that you most probably will receive.
Oh! one really last point: "A diamond is a piece of coal that stuck to its job."
FAILING TO PLAN IS PLANNING TO FAIL
